Georgian language of the descendants of muhajirs in the poetry of Pridon Khalvashi

Abstract. Migration of Georgians and the life of the descendants of muhajirs is one of the main topics of Fridon Khalvashi's work. The given is theme is widely reflected in the writer's work, both in prose and in poetic texts.

In 1968, during the visit of a delegation of Georgian writers to Turkey, the writer had the opportunity to meet with the descendants of Georgian muhajirs, including his own relatives. The work mainly reflects the impressions of the late 60s. On the one hand, there is the analysis of the reality depicted in poetry, on the other hand, there are reflected the subjective feelings of the poet, who had the opportunity to observe the life, the speech and the attitude to the native language of the descendants of Georgian muhajirs living in the Marmara region of Turkey. The article also presents an attempt to compare the lives of generations of the descendants of muhajirs.
