Technical parameters of article submission:

The article must be submitted in electronic version (in Microsoft Word format (with .doc extension). The article in Georgian Language should be submitted in Sylfaen font, while the article in English should be submitted in Times New Roman font. When submitting an article in other than Georgian or English languages Unicode fonts should be used. The file name should be the author's last name, for example, akhalkatsi.doc. The volume of the article (including the list of used literature and other types of appendices) should be not less than 5 (10 thousand characters) and not more than 20 computer pages (40 thousand characters).

Article should be submitted in A4 format:

Spacing between rows 1;

Font size 11;

Margins 2.54 cm on all four sides.

Article structure:

The paper submitted for publication should be formatted according to APA style of the American Psychological Association. The paper should be structured according to the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion) format.

Article Title: The title of the article should be in English and the original language of the article (font size 12, bold). The title should be written in the center. The English title should be written in capital letters. The title should be short, specific (not general) and reflect the content of the article. Avoid abbreviations and focus on the general public.

The field of study / subfield of study should be indicated on the left side above the title.

Author / authors: The full name of the author (s), academic degree, position, telephone, e-mail, ORCID code (if you are not registered yet, register at: https://orcid.org/) should be indicated below the title of the article (on the right side) in English and the original language.

Abstract (Summary): 200-250 words in English and the original language of the article (approx. One page printed by computer). The abstract should be informative, reflect the main content of the article, describe the purpose of the research, summarize the main results of the research and present its theoretical and practical significance. Should be structured, e.g. follow the logic of article building. The abstract is separated from an article. Therefore, using references in the abstract should be avoided;

In the abstract, we should categorically avoid general, meaningless words, which only increase the volume of the text, but do not help to open up the content of the article. In short, abstract text should be essentially original. A short and factual abstract is needed.

Keywords: The article should be accompanied by correctly selected keywords (5-8). Use only accepted abbreviations;

Introduction: The essence of the problem should be clear and your goals, hypothesis and the importance of your paper should be stated in this section; The author should discuss the history of the problem (review the literature, highlight some of the most interesting and original papers, including recent editions; referencing large amounts of literature unrelated to the topic is not recommended as well as inappropriate inserts of your own achievements); Achieved result should be necessarily discussed in the introduction. The whole section should be presented succinctly.

Methods: The article should be methodologically correct, i.e. the use of modern research methods should be identifiable in the research. Describe how you studied the question: provide detailed information;

Results: The results should be clear and concise. Sort this paragraph by hypotheses / theses. Use understandable illustrations (diagrams, tables, pictures, etc.) to generalize the data. Illustrations and text should not duplicate each other. The names of the illustrations should have an independent meaning. The material provided should be interpreted: readers often look at the illustrations first - then read. Therefore, the illustrations should be understandable and informative;

Discussion: This paragraph should show the significance of the results of the paper and not repeat them. Sometimes combining results and discussion paragraphs is acceptable (results and discussion). Avoid extensive citations and reviews of published literature. Outline the meaning of your results (the value of the results). Discussion is the most important part, it must be consistent with the results. It is not worth ignoring the papers the results of which contradict yours - hold a discussion with them and convince the reader of your correctness. Review the hidden content of your results, compare your results with previous research.

Conclusions: The main conclusions of the paper can be presented in a conclusion paragraph, which may be presented either as a separate paragraph, or as a sub-paragraph in the results and discussion paragraph.

References: References and sources should be laid out alphabetically (see below).

Acknowledgments: At the end of the article, in a separate paragraph, before the remarks, express your gratitude to all the people who helped you in your research. Do not use this paragraph as a footnote to the title or otherwise.

Footnote: Try not to use footnotes often. If something is important, write it down in the text, otherwise exclude it. Number the footnotes in Arabic numerals sequentially through word processing programs. Otherwise you can specify an asterisk (*) and make a note at the end of the text on the same page.

Literature citation

Citations and bibliography in the article should be formatted according to APA style. Authors should use Microsoft Word Bibliography Tool (REFERENCES) or bibliography management software (e.g. Mendeley, Zotero, RefMan, Endnote, JabRef).

Reference style: The citation in a scientific publication is separated from the main text by quotation marks (""). At the end of the citation, an index should be placed in round brackets, indicating the surname of the author of the quoted text in the original language, the year of publication of the text, then the colon and the corresponding page. Eg: (Takaishvili, 1920: 23).

Note that all the sources indicated in the text are also listed in the bibliography and vice versa. Unpublished results and personal links are not recommended to be mentioned in the list of sources, but may be mentioned in the text. If these sources are mentioned in the reference list, then they must meet the standard citation style in the journal. The quote “Print” indicated in the source means that the paper has been accepted for publication.

Indication of bibliography and sources:

Bibliography and references should be laid out alphabetically. Non-Georgian literature and sources where Latin fonts are used (e.g English, German) should be indicated in the original language. Sources where Latin fonts are not used (e.g Georgian, Armenian) should be presented in both transliterated form and in the original language. Georgian literature and sources should be transliterated according to the "Georgian National System of Romanization" (see www.google.com - under this heading). You can install the transliteration font on your computer, or translate the Georgian text by the help of the program (eg https://translit.net/ge/; http://ge.translit.cc/).
